Greatest hits at Klook

My favourite bits of copywriting at Klook. Basically, it's just stuff that I was proud of but didn't fit under my other projects. Enjoy!

Surprise me

The Trips tab of the Klook app allows users to view their bookings, saved items, and recently viewed products.

If users don't have any upcoming books, they can click "Surprise me" and get taken to a randomised city page for travel inspiration.

Book now for tomorrow

Story time. Before joining Klook, I used their website to check out their offerings.

I wanted to book train tickets but came across this "Available Tomorrow" tag. I was puzzled: Do tickets go on sale tomorrow? Or can I book for tomorrow?

I followed the former interpretation and put off booking until the next day. Of course, I returned the next day to be confronted by the same confusing copy.

Fast forward, and I've joined Klook on a mission to optimise this tag. My manager said it couldn't made clear and unambiguous. That just made me more determined to re-write it!

I re-wrote it as "Book now for tomorrow." I made it into a call to action ("Book"), gave it a sense of urgency ("now"), and finally made it clearer ("for tomorrow").
